Four Month Milestones on a Milestone Monday!

4 month milestones

Our mission is to help children achieve their development milestones if they need assistance. Our Physical Therapists wanted to share some of the most common milestones for kids’ development. We’ll start with common markers for children at the age of four months and continue from there!

By 4 months old, your baby should be able to:

  • hold their head up when on their belly,
  • hold and reach for toys,
  • push up onto their elbows when on their tummy.

Act early and talk to your doctor about physical therapy if your baby struggles with any gross motor milestones, early intervention is key! For more information about milestones, check out the CDC website at http://bit.ly/2UtkXqS for more information.
