Occupational Therapists
Michelle Beckwith
Occupational Therapist
Michelle received her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Dominican University of California in 2017 and has been practicing in outpatient pediatrics ever since.
She understands that children learn best through play and strives to use a child-led and play-based approach with each of her clients. She believes that trust, connection, and coregulation are the building blocks for success and progress in therapy, both with her clients and their parents.
Michelle has advanced training in Sensory Processing Disorder, Feeding Therapy and DIR/Floortime, and utilizes elements from each of these trainings throughout her practice. Additionally, Michelle has experience in Early Intervention and working with infants.
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys baking sourdough bread, taking her dog for walks/hikes, and skiing.
