My child was 12 months old and not crawling, walking or hardly moving when he started physical therapy with Miss Sophia (as we affectionately call her) due to hypotonia, at Connect the Dots. I was expecting a regimen of tedious exercises for us to follow several times a day that neither myself nor my son would enjoy. I was pleasantly surprised to see that his PT would be just tactics for how we played; what movements we would encourage and how to creatively challenge him to get stronger and more confident. My child has improved ten-fold and has become an active pre-toddler faster than we could ever have expected!

He is now 15 months old and took his first steps today. I cried as I watched him confidently cross the living room floor – Miss Sophia has changed his little life! She is full of wisdom and advice and has been such an encouragement to me as a mother with how to help my son as we play together at home. An added bonus is that my son adores her and he now gets excited when he sees Connect the Dots through the car window. Overall, I have nothing but praise for Miss Sophia and her passion and creativity to help my son get moving!
